Forecast Version

Get the URL:

1.       Go to: http://worldaerodata.com/US/ and choose your state

2.       Find the closest airport to you that has an ICOA code – Important: Not all have ICOA codes!

3.       The url to enter as a web service:
http://www.brettcharney.com/HamWeather/webservice.php?ICOACODE

4.       An example for Denver: ICOA code – KDEN would be:
http://www.brettcharney.com/HamWeather/webservice.php?KDEN

5.       Make sure to check that the airport you chose has a forecast by checking it in a web browser. If the bottom part does not have forecast icons then choose another airport

7.       That’s it

If you live outside the united states

Unfortunately, the scripts I use for gathering forecasts do not get international forecasts without a cost of $14.95 per month (which won’t be happening) so your only option is a 1 day forecast version with a satellite map
